MONDAYS @ 6:30 PM: Adult Tap Dance Open Level with Anna > In-Studio or Online

Mondays = 6:30 - 7:30 PM <br>(60 Min Class / 4 Week Session Option & Limited Single Classes)<br><br>Fall Session Start Dates: <br>- 9/9 (4 Week Session)<br>- 10/7 (4 Week Session)<br>- 11/4 (3 Week Session)<br>- 12/2 (3 Week Session)<br><br>Learn the tap dance basics in the style of old-school musicals/films and Gene Kelly/Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers and Rita Hayworth. Comfort and proficiency with a list of tap-dance steps known (provided upon request), are required to move to the intermediate class. This is about enjoying your journey to becoming a tap dancer. <br><br>At the studio, we teach specifically Broadway-Style tap dance as opposed to Rhythm-Style, we will incorporate some rhythm-style elements but as an instructor, my training was in Broadway-style.

TUESDAYS @ 6:30 PM: TUESDAYS @ 6:30 PM: Adult Jazz Dance Styles with Anna > In-Studio or Online

Tuesdays = 6:30 - 7:30 PM <br>(60 Min Class / 4 or 3 Week Session Option & Limited Single Classes)<br><br>Fall Session Start Dates: <br>- 9/3 (4 Week Session)<br>- 10/3 (4 Week Session)<br>- 11/5 (3 Week Session)<br>- 12/3 (3 Week Session)<br><br>This class takes the sensuality of chair dancing and combines it with stylistic jazz dance elements or standard jazz dance choreography. Heavily influenced by the style of Fosse-Verdon and is often defined as being very sexy, sassy, and classy. This is a class truly for all-bodies and modifications are very possible as needed for each student. Seduction is what it's all about and this class is a different choreography than the Wednesday chair class, so you have to flavors each week to try out and find your fabulousness. <br><br>We teach cabaret-jazz styled technique in this course, incorporating elements of jazz dance, lyrical, and even some ballet elements focusing on modifying as needed for all body types combined with using chairs as our primary prop or other props as deemed by weekly combinations taught.

THURSDAYS @ 6:30 PM: MEET ME AT THE BARRE: Adult Barre & Center with Anna > In-Studio or Online

Thursdays = 6:30 - 7:30 PM (60 Minute Class)<br><br>This class takes the elements of ballet that help to strengthen, define and improve our balance, coordination and poise and combines it with pop, rock, hip hop and more to kick it up just a notch. This is not a typically ballet barre class it's developed with a little ballet anarchy in mind - aging bodies cannot often withstand the rigors of true barre technique, so we have developed ways to meet your body needs with modified Checcetti methodology.<br><br>This is NOT a choreographed class, this is a technique and stretch class to help you connect your body to the properties of this art form that can help your body, mind and soul. Develop better balance and more graceful lines every day with a new way of approaching the barre.

Wednesday Night Workshops: 9/4 7:00 - 9:00 PM<br>Tap Dance 101: Every Step You Need to Know to Get Started<br><br>This workshop is perfect for anyone who's been toying around with the idea of taking the 4-week Tap Sessions offered on Mondays but has little-to-no tap experience. I will break down and teach you every basic step used in beginner tap dance to help you have a "leg-up" as you prepare to enter the world of tap dance which is fun, good for your mind and body, and just plain old stress relieving! Plus you can learn most if not all tap steps standing or seated (for those with mobility concerns). This is also a GREAT way to discover if TAP DANCE is something you truly want to do...so don't delay - workshops fill up fast.

Wednesday Night Workshops > 9/11/2024 > 7:00 - 9:30 PM<br>Tonight's Styling: Vintage Hair <br><br>This hands-on workshop explores the history of mid-century hairstyles and techniques for creating victory rolls, bumper bangs, the poodle, and more! Whether you want to learn for stage, photo shoots, or fun, you will leave this class having completed your vintage look. All genders and hair textures are welcome.<br><br>Attendees should bring a curling iron (1" if possible), hair sectioning clips, a heatproof comb, and bobby pins.<br><br>Workshops are OPEN to all genders, and classes are geared toward femme presenting.
